Begin the day with a Ferry to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of his 27 year prison sentence for a tour conducted by a former Island Inmate. Returning to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Next we head to Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the city riding the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. Should the weather be against us we may drive to the lower cable car base and Signal Hill for marvelous views of the city. From here we shall head down through the Bo-Kaap, District Six, The Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, Slave Lodge and walk through Company Gardens past our Houses of Parliament to Greenmarket Square before returning to accommodation.
