Walking With Lions

An Amzing experience awaits you at Zorgfontein Eco And Wildlife Reserve at Great Brak River, outside Mossel Bay the Start of the Garden Route where you can Walk with a family of African Lions. The Lions were captive-bred, and their mothers were raised in captivity, so unfortunately they could not be released into the wild as although they have the instinct they do not have the skills for survival. They  have a strict conservation ethic at Zorgfontein, so once the animals can no longer be part of the walks, they will be retired and properly looked after in the style that they deserve. The controlled walks are twice a day in groups up to 8 maximum and you must be over 1.5 metres and 10 years of age. Zorgfontein is also home to a number of plains animals such as Red and Black Impala, Giraffe, Kudu, Eland, Waterbuck, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest and Bontebok , many of which can be seen during the lion walks.       [Show as slideshow]...
